After the plenary meeting of the A.C.O.H.L., which took place on March 22nd-23rd 2022 in Jerusalem, and with the positive vote of the Ordinaries of the Holy Land, in date, May 16th, 2022, the President of the Assembly H.B. Pierbattista Pizzaballa has appointed Fr. Marcelo Gallardo, IVE, Secretary-General of the Assembly of the Ordinaries of the Holy Land for a period of five years. After a transition period together with the outgoing Secretary Fr. Pietro Felet, the official handover will take place on July 1st, 2022.
