Our Legal office is delighted to report the successful conclusion of another two-day training sessions held on September 15 and 22, 2023, aimed at empowering Catholic congregations in bookkeeping. These dynamic training sessions, hosted at the Notre Dame of Jerusalem, witnessed an enthusiastic and wide participation, with a total of 50 attendees on each day.
Over the course of two days, participants had the opportunity to delve into an extensive curriculum covering various aspects of financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning tailored to the unique needs of Catholic congregations. The training sessions attracted a diverse group of 50 attendees, representing Catholic congregations from various regions. This diversity allowed for rich discussions and the sharing of valuable experiences.
To ensure that all participants could fully engage with the material, simultaneous translation services were provided from English to French and Italian. This support guaranteed that every attendee could understand and actively participate in the training.
These training sessions represent our ongoing commitment to empowering Catholic congregations with the knowledge and tools necessary to manage their finances effectively. By equipping our congregations with the skills and insights shared during these sessions, we aim to ensure the long-term financial stability and growth of our faith communities.
As we move forward, we remain committed to offering further support and resources to our Catholic congregations. As advanced training course will commence next October.
