GALILEE – From July 3rd to July 8th 2023, the Assembly of the Catholic Ordinaries (ACOHL) held its annual interritual retreat for catholic bishops and priests in Korazim (Domus Galilaeae). The retreat was preached in Arabic by the Maronite Exarch in Colombia Msgr. Fadi Abou Shabel who spoke about the various virtues that should adorn the priests who exercise their ministry in the Holy Land, they must be missionary priests profoundly united to the Virgin Mary in the service of the people of God. The liturgy of the hours and the Eucharist were celebrated each day in one of the different rites of the members of the Assembly: Syriac Catholic, Melkite, Maronite, and Latin. It was a wonderful manifestation of common prayer, exchange of ideas and ecclesial communion.
