As the Jerusalem Campus of the Faculty of Theology of the Salesian Pontifical University, the STS was erected by decree of the Congregation for Catholic Education on 2nd February 2011. It has inherited the legacy of the Study Centre founded in1929.
The STS aims particularly at the theological formation of Salesian candidates to the priesthood. It is also open to students from other religious congregations, as well as to diocesan and lay students. In academic activities the medium of communication is English.
Degrees and Diplomas: Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Diploma in Interreligious Dialogue and Ecumenism, Diploma in Biblical Geography and History.
